INKAS and IVINS CITY ANIMAL SHELTER HONORED FOR LIFESAVING ACHIEVEMENT

At the Ivins City Council Meeting on December 5, Barbara Williamson of Best Friends Animal Society presented recognition awards to the Ivins City Animal Shelter and INKAS – Ivins No Kill Animal Supporters. Also awarded was FIAS.
Connie Butterfield, President and Co-Founder, accepted the award on behalf of the seven Directors and Volunteer Associates of INKAS. Best Friends recognized INKAS’ role in helping the Ivins Animal Shelter and Adoption Center attain a 90 percent or higher Save Rate for 2012.
Aggie Smith, Shelter Manager, accepted the recognition award on behalf of Ivins City and all the hard-working volunteers who make the lifesaving achievement possible.
